Admission Process
Check Eligibility & Course Options
Verify that you have passed HSC (12th Std) or equivalent. Decide on B.A., B.Com., or B.Sc. options and optional subject groups.
Collect and Submit Admission Form
Visit the college office between 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (Mon–Sat) to fill and submit the form along with required original documents.
Document Verification
The admissions committee will review original documents (leaving certificate, mark memo, caste papers, etc.).
Fee Payment & Scholarship Form
Pay the course fees. Eligible students should register on the Mahadbt portal for GOI scholarships.
Confirm Enrollment
Obtain your fee receipt and College Identity Card. Attend the mandatory orientation session.
Eligibility Criteria
- ✓B.A. / B.Com. / B.Sc. First Year: Passed HSC (12th Std) examination in any stream or equivalent from a recognized board.
- ✓Second Year of UG: Passed First Year examinations or cleared requirements as per Dr. BAMU University norms.
- ✓Third Year of UG: Passed Second Year examinations or cleared requirements as per Dr. BAMU University norms.
Required Admission Documents
- ✓Last year's original marks memo (with four attested photocopies)
- ✓Original Transfer / Leaving Certificate (with four attested photocopies)
- ✓Three latest passport-size photographs
- ✓Self-attested copy of Aadhaar Card
- ✓Gap certificate (if applicable, on ₹100 bond paper, duly attested)
- ✓Nationalized Bank Account Passbook copy (compulsory for scholarship holders)
- ✓SSC (10th Std) mark memo (original + 2 photocopies)
Required Scholarship Documents
- ✓Original Caste Certificate along with two self-attested photocopies
- ✓Original Income Certificate issued by Tahsil Office (with one photocopy)
- ✓Domicile Certificate from Tahsil Office
- ✓In case of father's death, mother's income certificate and father's death certificate
- ✓GOI Sanctioned No Certificate (for students from other universities)
- ✓Online GOI Scholarship Application hardcopy (filled via www.mahadbtmanait.gov.in)
Discipline Code
- Students must carry their Identity Cards at all times on campus.
- Use of mobile / cell phones is strictly prohibited in the college.
- Consuming Gutka, Panmasala, smoking, or drinking alcohol is strictly prohibited.
- Students must park vehicles only in the designated parking area.
- Regular 75% attendance for lectures and practicals is compulsory.
- Furniture, lamps, fans, and lab equipment must be handled with care.
- Pasting posters, handbills, or writing on walls/toilets is strictly prohibited.
- Visitors are not allowed in the college without prior permission.
- Formation of circles/gatherings without permission is not allowed.
- Shouting and misconduct with staff is a punishable offence.
Rules of the Library
- Identity Card is compulsory to enter the library.
- Students shall collect Library Cards from the Librarian by providing ID.
- Submit your Library Card with a photograph at the counter to borrow books.
- Report lost Library Cards immediately to the Librarian in writing.
- Duplicate library cards will be issued on payment of ₹50.
- Borrowed books must be returned within seven days from the issue date.
- Late returns attract a charge of ₹1 per day per book.
- For any damage or missing pages, students must pay recovery charges.
Anti-Ragging Regulations
AS PER UGC SECTION 26(1) (9) COMMISSION ACT 1956, RAGGING ON CAMPUS IS A PUNISHABLE OFFENCE.
Strict disciplinary measures will be taken in case of non-observance of anti-ragging rules:
- Cancellation of admission
- Suspension from attending classes
- Withholding examinations / results
- Imposition of reasonable fine
- Rustication from the examination or the college
Fee & Concessions
Fees are structured in compliance with Dr. BAMU and Govt. of Maharashtra guidelines. SC/ST and Category students receive fee concessions as per GOI regulations. Ensure scholarship documents are submitted on time.
Available Scholarships
GOI – Post Matric Scholarship
For SC category: Parental income limit up to ₹2.00 Lakhs. For OBC/SBC/VJNT: Parental income limit up to ₹1.00 Lakh.
Post Matric Government of India Scholarship for ST
For ST category: Family income limit up to ₹2.50 Lakhs.
Scholarship Scheme for Minority Communities
Candidate must not avail any other scholarship. 30% seats reserved for female candidates. Annual income limit up to ₹6.00 Lakhs.
Scholarship to Handicapped Students
Handicapped percentage up to 40% or more with valid medical board certificate.
Rajarshri Shahu Maharaj Shikshan Shulk Shishyavrutti Yojna
Annual income limit up to ₹8.00 Lakhs. Candidates must have 60% or more marks in previous exams and hold a nationalized bank account.
