Jivan Vikas Mahavidyalaya Shivoor was established by Bhartiya Gramin Punarrachana Sanstha (B.G.P.S.) under the vision of Hon'ble Dr. J. K. Jadhav to reconstruct the educational system and provide degree course opportunities to rural students.

Our History
Hon'ble Dr. J. K. Jadhav, former Additional Director of Industries, Maharashtra State, established Bhartiya Gramin Punarrachana Sanstha (B.G.P.S.) in 1984. The institution was established with the vision of reconstructing the educational system and providing educational facilities to rural students. Since its establishment, B.G.P.S. has continuously worked for educational development and currently operates several educational institutions. In addition to undergraduate and postgraduate courses, the society has established the J.K. Jadhav Knowledge Center in Mumbai and several educational institutions in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Vaijapur, Gangapur, Shivoor, Paithan and other places. Every year approximately 20,000 students benefit from these institutions. The society has appointed more than 2500 teaching and non-teaching staff members across its educational institutions.

Admissions Open for Academic Year 2025–26
Admissions are now open for B.A., B.Com., and B.Sc. courses for the academic year 2025–26. Students who have passed 12th Std (HSC) are eligible to apply. Collect the application form from the college office between 9:00 AM and 5:30 PM.
